Bloomberg analyst: The possibility of the SEC rejecting spot ETFs with the argument that ETH is a security is increasing
Financial lawyer Scott Johnsson posted on social media that according to official documents, the SEC is considering the security of ETH in the ETH spot ETF order, which was not mentioned at all in the application for the Bitcoin spot/futures ETF product. Bloomberg analyst James Seyffart commented that it seems the possibility of the SEC rejecting the Ethereum spot ETF with the argument that "ETH is a security" has increased.
